Teaching Artist
Kitchen Theatre Company in Ithaca, NY seeks a dynamic teaching artist to lead ensemble-based intro to theater and movement classes for children ages 8-12. The students are a diverse, multicultural group from our neighborhood community center. Classes will begin as soon as teaching artist is hired. Residency will consist of up to three two-week residencies over the remainder of the school year in Ithaca. Competitive compensation, housing, travel, per diem included. The Kitchen Theatre Company is a year-round Equity small professional theater. This program is an educational project developed as part of the theater's relocation that established a permanent home for the Kitchen Theatre Company in Ithaca's growing West End neighborhood. Front of House Trainee Program
Young people ages 18-24 are encouraged to apply to join the highly motivated, team-oriented staff of the Kitchen Theatre Company in this Entry-Level New Jobs Program. The Kitchen Theatre is seeking to fill 3 three-quarter-time entry level positions for young people ages 18-24. Successful applicants will work up to 30 hours a week at the theatre gaining hands-on experience and knowledge in all aspects of Front of House Management, including computerized ticket sales, concessions sales and management, customer service, opening and closing of the theatre, and audience safety procedures.

Intern Program
The Kitchen Theatre Company hires post-college interns for twelve-month periods.
General Production - Hands-on experience assisting SM, PM, ME, TD, actors, designers and directors throughout the entire production process, from pre-production to strike. Housing and stipend provided.
General Arts Administration - Assist Artistic, Business, Marketing Directors and build hands-on experience in all areas of arts administration. Housing and stipend provided.
Marketing - Duties include: assist with writing press releases, design of marketing materials, direct mail campaigns, assist in updating KTC's website and other support.
