Keeping the bold, intimate, and engaging theater “cooking” creates a challenge, even though our 73-seat house is often filled to capacity. A gap always exists between the cost of producing excellent theatre and the income we earn at the box office. To fill this gap, we count on support from our generous contributors. All gifts to the Kitchen Theater Company (a not-for-profit 501(c)3 corporation) are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Your support helps to ensure a vibrant future for the Kitchen Theatre Company.
The Kitchen Theatre is pleased to now be accepting on-line donations through the secure web site PAYPAL.
Thank you for donating!

Annual Support
Gifts to the Kitchen’s annual fund provide bedrock support for the theater’s yearly operating budget, for our four performance series, community outreach projects, salaries for our terrific staff, and other things like heat, electricity, and a well-stocked “pantry.” The annual fund drive kicks off in October —but gifts to our annual fund can be made at any point in the season, including right now!
Monthly Installment Plan
Consider making a donation pledge to the Kitchen Theatre Company now! With gifts of $500 or more, we also offer the option of paying your pledge in small, monthly amounts by check or automatic credit card payments. Managing Director, Stephen Nunley, would be happy to set this up for you.
The Excellence Fund
Established to honor Artistic Director Rachel Lampert in her 10th anniversary season, this fund provides supplemental discretionary money disbursed each season to enhance the A.D.’s artistic vision in the development, production values, and presentation of high quality theater in ways that are not possible in the Kitchen’s yearly operational budget.
How to join? Gifts to the Artistic Director’s Excellence Fund, which is a distinctive giving opportunity, separate from the Annual Fund, are made through two-year pledges. You can become a member by making a gift or commitment pledge at one these levels:
Artistic Director’s Circle level - $2,500+ per household over two years
Artistic Director Friend level - $1250-$2,499 per household over two years
Brochures on the Excellence Fund – where you can learn more about membership privileges and pledging forms – are available now.
Bequests and Gift Planning
Kitchen Theatre Company welcomes donations in the form of planned gifts—that is, the designation of the KTC as a beneficiary in wills, retirement plans, IRA accounts, life insurance, and trusts. These gifts boost the advancement of the theatre through development of endowment and/or by providing current use funds that help us to meet ongoing expenses.
Gifts of Stock
Share your success in the market with the Kitchen Theatre Company. Gifts of appreciated securities (whether individual stocks or mutual fund shares) can help you avoid capital gains tax while also providing a charitable deduction. We have secure and easy methods for you to transfer stock, proceeds of stock sales, or mutual fund shares to the Kitchen through our qualified broker.
