Mission
In its intimate performance space. the Kitchen Theatre Company (KTC) creates professional theater that challenges the intellect, excites the imagination, informs and entertains. KTC nurtures a community of diverse artists and brings excellent art to the community and beyond by:
-
Developing and producing new plays, exploring established repertory and contributing to the field of American theater;
-
Encouraging collaboration and offering a safe haven for experimentation;
-
Providing programming that inspires young people, opens the door to newcomers, and speaks to a broad cross-section of our community; and
-
Advancing a culture of theatergoing.
Board of Directors 2009-2010
The Kitchen Theatre Company’s Board of Directors provides the guidance and support for this mission and enables the theater to create, produce and present professional theater in an intimate setting. KTC Board Members share their skills and expertise, as well as their love of the arts to assist and support the staff, the artists and volunteers. From the combination of all these “company” energies emerges the work that we share with our community year-round on our four distinct performance series.
