Free parking is available at the following businesses:
- Wylie Laundry (entrance on Seneca Street)
- Human Services Building (on State Street with a one-and-a-half- block walk)
- Diane's Automotive (two doors down from the KTC towards Meadow Street)
- NAPA (across the street from the theater)
There is also on-street parking on State Street and the side streets. Meters are free after 6 p.m. and on weekends. Unfortunately the VFW has decided to not allow Kitchen Theatre Company patrons to park in their parking lot.
Sunday matinees
On-street parking is available at no cost.
Thursday 2 p.m. matinees
You should be able to find street parking close by. If you need quarters for meters, we have change on hand. We will time it so you can add quarters at intermission. If you park on Corn or Plain Streets, the parking is unmetered.
If you need special help, please call us and we will try to have a place for you as close as we can.
Handicapped access: We are working with the city to get a handicap parking spot in front of the theater. In the meantime, call ahead and we will try to get you a spot close to the theater.

From New York City: Approx. 4 Hours
Take I-80 West to I-380 West, then follow I-81 North to Exit 8. Take Rt. 79 West into Ithaca.At the "T" turn right on Aurora Street and an immediate left on Seneca Street. Make a left onto Cayuga Street and then the next right on W. State Street. The theater is three and a half blocks ahead, on your left - 417 W. State / W. MLK, Jr. Street.
From Philadelphia: Approx. 4 1/2 Hours
Take I-76 West to I-476 North to Scranton. Follow I-81 North to Exit 8. Take Rt. 79 West into Ithaca. At the "T" turn right on Aurora Street and an immediate left on Seneca Street. Make a left onto Cayuga Street and then the next right on W. State Street. The theater is three and a half blocks ahead, on your left - 417 W. State / W. MLK, Jr. Street.
From Elmira, NY/Sayre, PA: Approx. 1 Hour
Take Rt. 17 East to Owego. Follow signs to 96 North and continue on 96B into Ithaca. Turn left on Seneca Street. Make a left onto Cayuga Street and then the next right on W. State Street. The theater is three and a half blocks ahead, on your left - 417 W. State / W. MLK, Jr. Street.
From Auburn: Approx. 1 Hour, 15 min.
Take Rt 34S all the way to Ithaca. In South Lansing, Rt 34 makes a right turn and merges briefly with 34B. To continue on 34 you will take a left at Rogue's Harbor Restaurant. In Ithaca, take Rt. 13 S to Dey Street. Take a left on Dey, left on Tompkins, and right on Cayuga Street. Turn right on W. State Street. The theater is three and a half blocks ahead, on your left - 417 W. State / W. MLK, Jr. Street.
From Syracuse: Approx. 1 Hour, 15 minutes
Take I-81 South to exit 11 for NY-13 toward Cortland/Ithaca. Turn right at Clinton Ave/NY-13 (signs for Ithaca). In Ithaca, turn left on W. State Street. The theater is two and a half blocks ahead, on your right - 417 W. State / W. MLK, Jr. Street.
From Buffalo: Approx. 3 Hours
Take NYS Thruway (I-90) to Exit 41, then take Route 318 East to Route 89 South into Ithaca. Turn left on Buffalo Street then the first right onto N. Fulton Street. Turn left at the second cross street onto W. State Street. The theater is two and a half blocks ahead, on your right - 417 W. State / W. MLK, Jr. Street.
From Albany: Approx. 3 Hours
Take I-88 West to Binghamton. Follow I-81 North to Exit 8. Take Rt. 79 West into Ithaca. At the "T" turn right on Aurora Street and an immediate left on Seneca Street. Make a left onto Cayuga Street and then the next right on W. State Street. The theater is three and a half blocks ahead, on your left - 417 W. State / W. MLK, Jr. Street.
