PROGRAM PARTNERSHIPS

Make unique connections with KTC’s broad patron base while giving back to the community through the following initiatives:

Program Partnerships

WORKFORCE READINESS

Sponsorships start at $1,000.
Lead sponsorship is $10,000.

KTC’s Professional Training & Development Program prepares young people for jobs in the Arts and beyond. Your sponsorship helps the local economy by supporting hands-on job skills training for KTC Trainees, who are local high school students and recent graduates. For KTC Fellows, recent college grads pursuing a career in the Theatre or a related field, your business can provide their first professional experience.

KTC'S GREEN INITIATIVE

Sponsorships start at $1,000.
Lead sponsorship is $8,000.

Be a leader for the environment by supporting upgrades to the Kitchen Theatre’s LEED-certified building. Your sponsorship helps sustain practices in the theatre that reduce waste and increase energy-efficiency.

THEATRE IS FOR EVERYONE

Sponsorships start at $1,000.
Lead sponsorship is $5,000.

We offer a variety of opportunities to make KTC’s programs available to people who need help accessing the theatre. Theatre for All Ages supports family-friendly shows. The Thursday Matinee Series and Saturday Matinee Series serve an audience consisting of a large number of retirees and others who find it helpful to travel during daylight hours. Pay What You Want performances are popular with students, millennials, and others for whom a low ticket price makes theatre affordable. Human services providers and their clients enjoy KTC shows through the Community Giving Program, which offers tickets for just $5.

FREE CHILDCARE PROGRAM

Sponsorships start at $1,000.
Lead sponsorship is $3,000.

Following last season’s popular pilot project to offer free childcare to parents of young children, you can reach this key demographic with your support for KTC’s Childcare Program.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Sponsorships start at $1,000.
Lead sponsorship is $3,000.

Get maximum exposure at KTC special events and fundraisers. With seven Opening Night Celebrations per year you have the opportunity to connect with our core patrons. KTC’s annual Holiday Party takes place over 2 nights in December with chances to network with area business leaders and consumers. Participate in our Spring Lip Sink fundraiser--a great option for getting your whole staff involved in the fun!

TRADE AND IN-KIND SUPPORT

Do you have an idea of how your business could support KTC with products or services? We offer trades in tickets and advertising and would love to hear your ideas!

Thanks to Agava Restaurant, Digby Charitable Trust, and an anonymous supporter the Kitchen has offered over 1800 Pay What You Want Tickets since 2013. Thanks to CFCU the doors of the Kitchen have been open to over 100 other local non-profits since moving to our location in our West End Neighborhood.

“Thank you, immensely, for the artistic cross-pollination with “Proof.” It allowed my students to come alive like no semester before. Yours and the actors’ staggering generosity in welcoming my students into your creative mode fills me with the deepest gratitude, in allowing me to enrich so fully their nascent artistic journeys this semester. The majority of my students this term (very few being theatre majors) are now excited and determined to continue their acting journeys.”

“As a new playwright and producer, there is no way on earth I would have been able to afford putting my show up if the Kitchen had not come through to help. I had been trying to workshop my plays for the past ten years and always had trouble finding spaces and companies in which to do that. What Haunts You, a play about ghosts in a theater, had been in process for the past four years. Though I was able to workshop it in Queens and Connecticut, it wasn’t until I approached the Kitchen that I was able to transform the work into a full production.”

“Having free childcare so my husband and I could actually see a show together was such a treat. The providers were lovely and my 3 year old had no interest in leaving when we came to pick her up. Our 9 month old had a hard time but we had never left her before and the caregivers texted us to let us know she had been crying a while so we hurried back to get her but we had been able to see the entire show by then and have our first kid-free date since having our younger child.”
