Alexander Thomas

Playwright/Performer, Something About Money

From Albany, NY, Alexander has worked in London, Berlin, and Toronto, where he received the Dora Award for Outstanding Performance in Between Riverside and Crazy at Coal Mine Theatre. Also in Toronto; The Royale, For Both Resting and Breeding and Waiting for Godot


Other international credits include London’s West End production of On the Waterfront and The Goat, or Who Is Sylvia? with Actors Repertory Theatre Luxembourg.


His solo play Throw Pitchfork came to Kitchen Theatre Company in 2002 following its Off-Broadway premiere at New York Theatre Workshop and returned for a revival in 2017. Kitchen audiences have also seen him in Opus, Broke-ology, After Ashley, Sunset Baby, The Whipping Man, and The Royale. Alexander is a playwright and filmmaker whose play Schwarz Gemacht

premiered in Berlin at English Theatre Berlin | International Performing Arts Center directed by Daniel Brunet. He is thrilled to return to KTC which he considers an artistic home for the world premiere of Something About Money, once again collaborating with Daniel Brunet.
