Two playwrights walk into a bar, and sparks fly. Establishment darling Kit Marlowe has been commissioned to write a play with a promising young upstart, Will Shakespeare. As they work, sexual tension ignites, suspicions rise, and rivalry and admiration grow in equal measure. But in the paranoid surveillance state of Elizabethan England, the walls have ears, and the wrong alliance can prove fatal. 

Is this poetic wrestling match a battle of wits, a hot flirtation, or a fight for survival?
