Michael Ruiz-del-Vizo is a Scenic Designer based in Brooklyn; they are a Queer Cuban-American Artist born and raised in Miami. Michael is a designer for theater, opera, and dance, who strives to develop bold and challenging new work whose stories engage with design as an integral part of the storytelling process. Michael is a proud member of Local USA 829 and Wingspace Theatrical Design, a visiting lecturer at Rutgers University, and a 2026 Princess Grace Awards winner.
