We have a little phrase we like to throw around at KTC: Important conversations happen in the Kitchen! In that spirit, we're excited to announce some fascinating post-show talkbacks. These talkbacks are all free and open to the public. To attend, just come into the lobby after the show (around 8:30 for evening talkbacks, 3:30pm for daytime ones).

Saturday, May 9, 8:15pm: The Politics of Food, panel featuring Van Noble Farms, Via's Cookies, and Wide Awake Bakery. Food is political, social, and deeply intertwined with issues of justice and community. In this panel, you'll meet some of the most innovative and outspoken members of Tompkins County's rich food scene, and learn what actions you can take to keep our local food supply secure and accessible.

Wednesday, May 13, 8:15pm: Feeding Tompkins County, panel discussion led by Loaves & Fishes. In this timely conversation, FEAST. Community Partner Loaves & Fishes invite several organizations to discuss the important work of feeding our Tompkins County neighbors as food costs continue to rise. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions and learn about many ways you can contribute to this critically important cause.

Friday, May 15, 8:15pm: Meet the Artists Talkback. A beloved KTC tradition, our Meet the Artists Talkback gives you a chance to mingle with the team behind this incredible show, including director Jen Pearcy-Edwards, actor Brenny Campbell, and KTC Producing Artistic Director Emily Jackson.

Time and Date TBD: Reconsidering Beowulf with Professor Samantha Zacher. We are delighted to announce the late-breaking news that Professor Samantha Zacher, who is currently teaching a course on Beowulf at Cornell, will join us for a talk and Q&A about the source material behind the text.

Please check the FEAST. webpage for talkback updates. We're completely geeked out about this lineup, and hope you'll join us for any or all of these talks!
